Our Recruitment Process

We typically deploy a recruitment strategy and source for candidates through many means, including reaching out to desirable candidates and also posting available openings in our job listing. We also have supply partners who provide us access to a wider range of talents.

Pre-registration: To complete your registration on GWS, you’re required to make a payment for DBS checks. Also, there are costs for training certificates and branded uniforms.

But what happens after candidates send in job applications? Here’s a summary that describes the process.

  • Each application is reviewed by the recruitment team using different methods, including applicant tracking softwares and individual review. Candidates who meet the requirements for the role are shortlisted and contacted.
  • We contact shortlisted candidates and screen them for suitability and quality.
  • We interview candidates who pass the screening stage one or more times, depending on the role, the organisation’s requirements and the competitiveness for the role. We assess candidates before sending them to our clients and also work with our clients where further assessment is required. In addition, clients retain the right to further interview the top candidates.
  • Candidates are assessed through standardized tests, depending on the role. Please note that this does not apply to all roles.
  • Reference Check: We check your references to ensure everything checks out.
  • Decision, Offer and Hiring: A decision is reached on each candidate that makes it to stage, and communicated to them. The chosen candidate(s) will be presented an offer, and hired if the terms of the offer are agreed by all parties.
  • Onboarding:  We provide you information and training that helps you become productive on the job immediately.

Training

We provide varied training for different roles in different sectors. Where the role you have applied for requires training (on a certification you currently do not possess), you’re required to undergo the mandatory training, which attracts a cost.
